Repair Services - System Rebuild

Occasionally, your operating system (e.g Windows XP) can become very slow and unusable and when this happens it can be very difficult to restore it back to working order by way of a standard repair. If a standard repair fails, we look to perform a System Rebuild on your machine. This type of repair is the most thorough type of repair we offer and involves deleting all your files from your hard disk, including the operating system and then rebuilding it from scratch. The end result is a computer that runs as quickly as it did when you first took it out of the box.

System Rebuilds are normally necessary when you have suffered a serious virus or your system continually crashes and the cause cannot be determined. There are a number of important things to consider before we perform a System Rebuild on your PC/Laptop.

1. You must own a valid licence (Certificate of Authenticity) for the operating system we are restoring. e.g Windows XP.  find out more

2. We cannot backup your programs/applications. You will need the original installation file(s)/CD(s)/DVD(s).

3. We are able to back up your personal files and folders. e.g. Pictures, iTunes, Office documents etc. The backup service is £9.95.

4. It would be helpful if you had a system driver CD for the machine's hardware but this is not essential.
