HOW IT WORKS

Once you have downloaded the RemoteSafe
client software, you can create a backup set which is a
group of files and/or folders that you wish to backup. You
can then set the schedule for the backup. The first backup
and upload process can potentially take several hours or
even days, depending on the amount of data you are backing
up. The RemoteSafe server encrypts all of your data so that
it is only accessible to you alone. Once the initial backup
is complete, daily 'incremental' backups are performed which
will upload modified files in your backup set as well as
adding new ones. After each
backup you'll receive an e-mail notification with a detailed
report of your backup. If the RemoteSafe servers didn't
receive your scheduled backup you'll be notified as well.
When you need to restore your data, simply
open the client and perform the restore. It really is that
simple!
